Police Log
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Oct. 21. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
Oct. 16: A caller reported a stolen wallet from the SPH 1.
Oct. 17: A wallet was reported stolen from the Malkin Athletic Center. Two bicycles were reported stolen from the Countway Library and Emerson Hall. A cellular phone was reported stolen from 35 Dunster St. A caller from Dane Hall reported the fraudulent use of his credit card. Officers responded to a report of a past larceny of a wallet at SPH 2. A caller reported harassing e-mails at the Dunster House.
Oct. 18: Two individuals reported the theft of laptop computers from a secured office at the Kennedy School of Government (KSG). An officer responded to the report of a stolen wallet at SPH 1. An officer responded to a report of harrasing phone calls at Baker Hall. Two bicycles were reported stolen from Gund Hall and KSG. Two motor vehicles were vandalized at the Murr Center.
Harvard Operations reported that a section of Divinity Avenue near the Biology Lab had collapsed. Officers were dispatched, reported hazardous conditions, and closed the street. A Harvard Operations crew was sent to evaluate.
Oct. 19: At the Harvard Medical School, C2 Building, a caller reported that money from a wallet was stolen. A caller reported that her brown leather purse was stolen from Aldrich Hall. A bicycle was reported stolen outside Rockefeller Hall. Some items were reported stolen from 5 Bryant St.
Oct. 20: A laptop computer was reported stolen from the Warren Alpert Building. A purse was reported stolen from the Littauer Center.
Oct. 21: A bicycle was reported stolen from Peabody Terrace.
A caller reported an individual was breaking into a vending machine at the International Legal Studies building. Officers were dispatched and arrested two males. Four vending machines were broken into.
