Police Log
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Oct. 7.
The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
Oct. 1: A caller reported graffiti at Harvard Hillel.
Oct. 2: An officer responded to a report of a past larceny at the B1 Building at Harvard Medical School (HMS). Two bicycles were reported stolen from the B2 Building at HMS and Jefferson Lab. An officer responded to a report of the theft of his bicycle from the rack at Harvard Hall.
Oct. 3: A laptop was reported stolen from the Holyoke Center. A book bag was reported stolen from the Medical School Quad.
Oct. 4: A bicycle was reported stolen from Larsen Hall.
Oct. 5: A caller reported a suspicious package at the Pforzheimer House. The package was picked up and brought to the HUPD station.
A security guard responded to a door alarm at Harvard Hall. An officer was dispatched and reported that the door’s cyclinders were missing and that the lock had been removed. A report was filed.
A bicycle was reported stolen from Mather House.
Oct. 6: A caller reported that a suspect described as a tall black male wearing a red/maroon shell and a backwards ball cap walked into her office at the Pound Building and stole her wallet.
Oct. 7: Unknown persons gained forced entry into the dining hall at the Currier House. The door was pried open and food items were disturbed. A bicycle was reported stolen from the Warren Alpert Building.
