Police Log
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending May 13. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
May 7: A wallet was stolen at Quincy House. A caller reported that someone broke into a room at Pennypacker Hall. A wallet was stolen at Langdell Library.
May 8: An I.D. card and two wallets were reported stolen at the Malkin Athletic Center. An act of vandalism was discovered in Cabot House. A bicycle was stolen at Mather House. A wallet was stolen at the Newell Boathouse.
May 9: A cell phone was stolen at Holyoke Center. A restroom at the Biology Labs was vandalized. Cash was stolen from an office in Boylston Hall.
May 10: A wallet was stolen at Langdell Library.
May 11: A cell phone was stolen from Gutman Library. A bicycle was stolen at Mather House. A caller reported that her bag was shot by a paintball. A bicycle was stolen at the Science Center.
May 12: Caller reported that while walking down Plympton St. he was hit with water balloons thrown from a window of Quincy House; the area was searched with negative results. A telephone was stolen from a room in Adams House. A bicycle was stolen near the Science Center.
May 13: A person was stuck in an elevator at Mallinckrodt Lab; engineering staff was notified and got person out. A security guard reported damage to an emergency phone at Mass. Hall. A bicycle was stolen at Haskins Hall. Operations staff at Building D1 at Harvard Medical School reported a chemical spill of nitric acid; the building was evacuated and the spill was cleaned up.
